A huge congratulations to PHIVE on being named as a finalist in the World Green Building Council’s APAC leadership awards!
These finalists represent innovation, excellence, and leadership in the green building movement across the Asia Pacific (AP) region.
PHIVE (5 Parramatta Square) has a prestigious 6-star Green Star accreditation, a significant marker for public buildings. Designed with an eye toward eco-consciousness, PHIVE boast a layout that encourages thermal comfort and minimises reliance on traditional air conditioning, underlining Parramatta City Council’s commitment to operating PHIVE as a carbon-neutral entity.
EBSA is honoured to have contributed to this landmark project by incorporating our energy-efficient Schneider BT90 thermally broken double-glazed louvres and digital CPS-M control panel into the building’s façade. These elements work seamlessly with the building management and control system (BMCS), enhancing air quality and facilitating the removal of aerosol particles through the use of thermal chimneys and operable louvres.
Positioned at the core of Parramatta CBD, this Civic Centre not only serves as the community, cultural and civic hub but also sets a benchmark for government building sustainability in the state. Its design minimises the need for artificial heating and cooling, emphasizing environmental performance through sustainable design principles.
EBSA has a range of air quality sensors that can be retrofitted to existing projects and work in conjunction with new or existing automated facade systems to extend the benefits if improved air quality and environmental control to educational and professional environments.
