Noosa Residence

hen Clements Clarke Architects selected the LF550 louvre for a residential project on the Noosa River he was looking for a product that could meet the aesthetic and performance demands of his award winning design.

The architect was searching for a product that could achieve incredibly wide spans and become a feature of the home – a typical residential louvre system could not provide the desired result.

The clients fell in love with the LF550 frameless glass louvre from EBSA and the louvres became central to the overall design.

The full extent of the LF550 louvres is almost 10m wide x 3m high fronting the river and this is divided into two louvre systems. Using a staggering 25.52mm glass EBSA were able to deliver a design with each blade spanning 2000mm wide x 600mm high.

The total extent of the LF550 louvres is 5 bays at approx 2000mm wide x 3000mm high.

The LF550 is so impressive that it completely dwarfs the G12 BS louvres installed in the front of the house.

EBSA provided all of the automation including a wind and rain sensor and remote control operation.
